Finances
The Land Conservancy's financial position gained strength during 2025, thanks to generous support
from the members. Grants and restricted donations helped fund the year's conservation
achievements. Long-term funds yielded investment returns of 16% and generated both restricted
and unrestricted income.
Aided by a small, skilled staff and many dedicated volunteers, the Board of Directors maintains lean,
effective operations, with a high percentage of outlays devoted to direct conservation expenses.
The Board is grateful to members who respond to the fund-raising appeals and events, those who
include the Land Conservancy in their estate planning, and all who donate generously through the
annual Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree. Funds from these sources make
fulfilling the mission possible.
