Jim and Shirley’s easement marks the first of four Waybright properties,
totaling more than 80 acres, that the family intends to protect. Most of
the preserved land lies north of Mason Dixon Road, stretching nearly a
half mile west of Taneytown Road. Rolling fields open to sweeping views
of the South Mountain ridgeline, while development from the nearby
Links at Gettysburg golf course community presses close. For Jim, the
decision to preserve was about more than acreage.
